Aluminum Rails
Elegant Aluminum Rails are custom built to jobsite specifications and come in grades ranging from Residential to Commercial. Elegant Aluminum Products will build a safe, secure rail whether the need is a high-rise balcony, deck, front porch, ramp, stairs, or a retaining wall. Keep the following in mind when deciding which grade rail to use. Premier, Architectural, and Commercial Grades meet IBC LOAD Codes. Furthermore, the main differences between the styles are the shapes of the channels, including the top covers, and whether or not the posts are above or below the top channel. Residential Grade Rail

Commercial Grade Rail
This grade of railing can be used in a variety of applications where an IBC load rating must be upheld. Commercial railings are commonly used on raised porches, decks, balconies, stairwells and accessible ramps. All commercial railings utilize a two part channel and cover system that locks together, forming a smooth railing free of visible fasteners. Commercial railing can be ordered in four different styles and two different heights to suit your application. 36’’ tall railings are suitable in areas that are located 30’’ or less above grade. 42’’ tall railings are suitable in any area located 30’’ or more above grade. This grade of railing is primarily used to create a decorative touch on porches and ground level decks. Residential railing allows homeowners to match the style used in their perimeter or pool fence, creating a consistent flow between railing and fencing. This grade of railing does not meet IBC load code ratings and should only be used in areas that are 30’’ or less above grade. Residential railing can be ordered to match any fence style or configuration, whether it is a two or three channel design.
