BOCA Pool Entrance Gates

Our pool entrance gates are tailor made to your specifications. Pool entrance gates are commonly used for security and decoration on entrances to pools, spas, and other water hazards. Additional features include rings, aluminum castings, and finials or spears. Custom colors, lengths, heights, materials, designs and decorations are available.

Whether you need a pool entrance gate for a condo, home, or commerical dwelling, please verify the pool code restrictions in your area. For instance, BOCA restrictions include self-closing hinges facing outward, and child-proof locking mechinism above 54" from the ground. Additional restrictions may apply.

BOCA Pool-Code Gate Restrictions:

  • The fence must be at least 48" tall
  • The mid-rail must be at least 45" above the bottom rail.
    *Some fence styles, if chosen, may have to be taller than 48"
  • The spacing between pickets must be less than 4"
  • The space between the bottom rail and the ground must be less than 4"
  • The gate(s) must be self-closing
  • The gate(s) must be self-latching
  • The gate(s) need to open out (away from the pool area)
  • The opening mechanism of the latch must be at least 54" above ground
