SHIPPING POLICIES
Thoroughly inspect all shipping containers for damage immediately upon delivery
by the motor carrier. If any containers are damaged, or, the quantity of containers
does not agree with the bill of lading, immediately make a notation of the discrepancy
on the bill of lading along with the driver’s signature.
I In order to make a claim for damages, you must notify the carrier immediately.
A representative of the carrier will inspect the shipment, packaging material, and
the containers. Upon completion of inspection, you must file a claim, and include
the following documents.
- Original Bill of Lading
- Copy of Paid Freight Bill
- Original Invoice
- Repair Invoice or Replacement Invoice
- Inspection Report
- Packing List
Any claims against the carrier for damages or shortages
are the sole responsibility of the carrier. We are not responsible for freight charges,
replacement materials, filing of claims, or collecting of claims. Damaged goods
can’t be shipped back to Elegant Aluminum Products without prior, written approval.n

If there is an error or damages in your shipment, it must be reported to Elegant
Aluminum Products within 3 days after receipt of the merchandise. If we make an
error on your order, we will pay shipping charges incurred correcting the error.
All incorrect merchandise must be returned to us in the original cases undamaged.
Elegant Aluminum Products, Inc. will help you in any way we can to collect any claims
written against the carrier.
